Hairspray is something used to make your hair neat
All the girls think it's hard to beat
They use it in front of boys after the shower
Girls think looking glamorous gives you power

Fancy hairstyles, ooh and ahh
Going to the spa, la la la
Looking pretty is important
A day without hairspray--I can't!

Getting boyfriends, being admired
For me that just makes me tired
I throw my hair in a pony tail
For me that makes my spirit sail

I see hairspray differently than most people
It's a waste of time
